Free vs Pro

Free items are free for good under MIT: install them, change them and ship them in anything you build, with no account. Pro is a paid license for the Pro items: $199 once for one person, $129 a year, or Team at $599 once for up to 10 people in one company. Both install the same way, as source you own; Pro adds the Pro items, their updates and the logged-in MCP server.

What is the same on both#

  • You own the source. Every item installs as files in your repo. There is no runtime package to keep paying for, and nothing stops working if you stop paying.
  • The same install. npx shadcn@latest add @pixilui/<item>, or the PixilUI CLI and MCP server.
  • The same quality bar. Free items are not demos: keyboard, screen reader, reduced motion and dark mode are done for every item, free or Pro.
  • Previews. Every Pro item has a public page with its live preview and docs, so you can judge it before you pay.

What Pro adds#

  • The Pro items, now and later: the larger pieces such as the agent inbox and the eval table. The Pro page lists them.
  • Updates for life with Pro and Team, for the year with Pro yearly. What you installed stays yours when Pro yearly ends.
  • Pro through agents: the MCP server's login address and Copy prompt serve Pro source.
  • Team: seats for up to 10 people, invoicing and priority requests.

Lifetime or yearly#

Lifetime is one payment for every Pro item and every update. Yearly costs less up front; when it ends, installs and updates stop and everything already installed stays licensed in the projects it is in. At these prices, lifetime costs less than two years of yearly.

Refunds and license#

A full refund within 14 days if you have not installed or copied any Pro source. After that, a refund only when an item is broken and we cannot fix it within 14 days of your report. The license has the full terms: Pro items go into unlimited personal, client and commercial projects; you cannot resell them as a kit, template, component library or MCP server.

Questions#

Is PixilUI free?

The free items are, under MIT, with no account. Pro items are a paid license; their previews and docs are public.

Can I use free items in a commercial product?

Yes. MIT lets you use, change and ship them in anything, including products you sell.

Can I use Pro in client projects?

Yes. Pro items can go into unlimited personal, client and commercial projects. You cannot resell them as a kit, template, component library or MCP server.

What happens to my code if I stop paying?

Nothing. Items are source in your repo. With Pro yearly, new installs and updates stop when it ends; installed items stay licensed.
