Using both

They can share an app through the shadcn CLI. Keep one library per surface, since each reads its own theme.

Questions

Is shadcn.io the official shadcn/ui?

No. Its own llms.txt says it is an independent project, not the official shadcn/ui at ui.shadcn.com. It follows the same model and CLI, so its code works in a shadcn/ui project.

Can I use shadcn.io's Individual license for client work?

Its llms.txt lists Individual for personal and open-source projects, and Team and Organization with commercial use included. PixilUI Pro covers your products and client work on one seat, and Team covers up to 10 people.

Can they share a project?

Yes. Both install with the shadcn CLI, shadcn.io under @shadcnio and PixilUI under @pixilui, into separate folders.
